Come join our growing team. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Internal Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with our corporate objectives and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction across all levels of the organization.BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $155-175K. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an internal communication strategy that supports company objectives, fosters transparency, and reinforces our corporate culture.+ Content Creation: Create compelling and informative content for various internal communication channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, and video messages.+ Executive Communication: Partner with senior executives to craft and deliver strategic messages and presentations that effectively communicate company goals, initiatives, and performance updates to employees. Develop high-impact presentations leveraging Power Point and other media.+ Change Management Communication: Lead communication efforts during periods of organizational change, including mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements.+ Events: Lead strategy and execution for high-visibility events including leadership meetings, roadshows and community events.+ Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall satisfaction through effective communication practices.+ Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture through communication initiatives that celebrate achievements, promote values, and encourage collaboration.+ Measurement and Analytics: Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and adjust strategies based on data insights.+ Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company goals.+ Crisis Communication: Provide internal communications leadership and support for crisis response, as needed.+ Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of internal communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional development. Foster a positive team culture of support and accountability.QUALIFICATIONS:+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).+ Proven experience (10 years) in a similar role within a B2B or corporate environment.+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels.+ Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing a team of communication professionals.+ Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies.+ Experience in change management communication and handling sensitive organizational issues.+ Experience planning and coordinating internal events.+ Strong Power Point design skills.+ Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, intranet platforms, and communication software (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).+ Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement, internal branding, and corporate culture enhancement.+ Strong analytical skills and experience in measuring communication effectiveness through metrics and analytics.About Us:A leading provider of access, specialized services to the global industrial, commercial and infrastructure markets, BrandSafway delivers access and scaffolding systems, forming and shoring, industrial services and related solutions to more than 30,000 customers worldwide.
