Committed to exceptional customer service and community engagement, USG fosters a collaborative environment where every team member is valued as part of our close-knit USG Family.Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead our efforts in promoting ourselves and our extensive network of storage facilities. The ideal candidate will develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and ultimately enhance revenue across all locations through various digital and grassroots channels.
In addition, the director of marketing will also develop and execute working with our industry partners the Universal storage group brand to grow our portfolio of storage facilities across the United States.Responsibilities:+ Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote USG's 80+ storage facilities, utilizing digital marketing, social media, and grassroots initiatives that leverage our storage professionals at the facilities.+ Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and content creation to attract and convert leads.+ Implement grassroots marketing strategies to establish local community partnerships, drive foot traffic, and increase brand awareness.+ Analyze marketing data and metrics to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and drive continuous improvement.+ Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and ensure cohesive messaging.+ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Requirements:+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent work experience.+ Progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in self-storage industry or in multi-location retail marketing.+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop and teach our storage professionals how better to market or services.+ Proficiency in digital marketing tactics including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, and analytics tools.+ Experience in developing and executing grassroots marketing campaigns to drive local engagement and customer acquisition.+ Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Preferred Qualifications:+ Experience in the Self-Storage property management, or apartment industries is highly desirable.+ Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms.+ Proof of ability to understand and execute all levels in marketing from grass roots to sophisticated digital platforms.+ Success in brand management a plusBenefits:+ Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.+ Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.+ 401(k) retirement plan with company match.+ Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic industry and supportive work environment.Location: This position is based at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA, with occasional travel as required.Join Our Team: If you are passionate about marketing, dedicated to driving business growth through innovative strategies, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment, we invite you to apply for the Director of Marketing position at Universal Storage Group.
