Technical Writer/Illustrator - Electronic test and measurement 1343035 A leading technology company is seeking a Technical Writer/Illustrator - Electronic test and measurement. The successful candidate will be part of our site site primarily devoted to the design, manufacture, and marketing of our power solutions. The Technical Writer will work closely with design engineers to capture and integrate critical customer content. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience as a technical writer. Technical Writer/Illustrator - Electronic test and measurement Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $60/hr • Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Budd Lake, NJ 07828 - Onsite, Candidates must be local to Budd Lake) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment Technical Writer/Illustrator - Electronic test and measurement Responsibilities: • Work closely with design engineers to capture and integrate critical customer content. • Author product manuals, quick start guides, data sheets, reference materials, and other user documentation. • Work with R&D Project Managers to establish learning product plans for new products. • Coordinate with others to publish learning product content to the website as needed. Technical Writer/Illustrator - Electronic est and measurement Qualifications: • 2-4 years of experience as a technical writer. • Science or engineering BS/BA degree with a background in English or communications (electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, or mechanical engineering is desired). • Experience with Madcap|Flare technical writing software. • Experience with electrical engineering terms, ideally as it relates to electronic test and measurement. • Familiarity with power products. • In-depth knowledge of MS word and office suite of tools. • Ability to proofread and edit documents. • Strong written communication skills. • Strong team player who can work closely with design engineers to capture and integrate critical customer content. • Ability to author product manuals, quick start guides, data sheets, reference materials, and other user documentation. • Ability to pivot quickly based on rapidly changing product requirements. • Ability to multitask on multiple product projects. • An understanding of electrical fundamentals and electronic instrumentation is desired. • Familiarity with power supplies and electronic measurement devices is desired.
