**Job Title:** Technical Writer II**Remote****Job Description:****General Summary**This is a technical role within Product Data Management (PDM) responsible for the product document translation for finished product commercialization and quality initiatives, managing critical product formulation information as it is transferred from the kitchen to the manufacturing facility. This position adheres to established business and system processes. Team members in this role are also responsible for technical documentation in systems such as the Optiva Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, SharePoint, etc. working in close collaboration with PDM team members.**Principal Responsibilities**• 80% of time – Systematic building of formulas, procedures, and specifications in the Optiva PLM system as required to ensure that products can be manufactured properly and according to specifications and can integrate with SAP & RMS plant floor systems.• 20% of time – Work collaboratively with PDM Manager and Scientists on multiple product commercialization projects, independently manage (or manage with support as needed) all product documentation requirements needed to meet project timelines. Work closely with manager to adjust priorities and workload as needed to meet commercialization timeline commitments.**Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job)**• Minimum education required; BS Degree in a Science based field, Computer Science acceptable• Years of relevant experience: minimum of 2 years• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills, along with strong collaboration skills.• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.• Proficient at independent planning, prioritization, and execution / implementation.• Strong computer skills including fluency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and database management. Ability to quickly become proficient in all relevant software systems/applications such as Optiva PLM and SharePoint.• Technical knowledge base of food principles from lab to plant scale-up with some ability to apply that knowledge to formulations, manufacturing and finished product specifications, desired but not required.• Knowledge of commercial food manufacturing systems, equipment and thermal processes desired but not required.Best Regards,ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
