With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Medication Authorization Specialist to join our Medication Access team.****SIGNING BONUS!******What You Can Expect**+ Utilize your advanced medication knowledge to maximize revenue capture for high-cost medications in this critical,complex field+ Work autonomously and proficiently to guide the provider, patient, and insurance company+ Collaborate with a crossfunctional team of pharmacists, medical/clinical staff, revenue cycle specialists, and patient access services staff including financial advocates and coding staff+ Engage with third party payers, prescription benefit management companies, governmental peer review organizations, and referring physicians+ Manage referrals related to prescription medications for various disease states, obtaining prior authorization from intermediaries and payers including managed care companies, insurance companies, and review organizations**Qualifications**+ High school diploma or equivalent+ Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration+ Upon hire, once CPhT certification has been obtained, must maintain renewal of national CPhT certification and report to State Board of Pharmacy as required by PTCB and/or NHA**Preferred Qualifications**+ Two (2) + years' experience+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)**What’s in it for you**At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
