**Job Description Summary**The CMC Design-Manufacturing Integration Leader contributes to bringing the designs of next-generation commercial products to life. Serves as the central focal between design, manufacturing, and the program. Has significant impact on the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the cross-functional CMC IPT team. This role is dedicated to the RISE program - a 50/50 joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines dedicated to inventing the future of sustainable flight.**Job Description****Roles and Responsibilities**+ Create and maintain a project schedule from design release to final shipment by gathering inputs from key stakeholders including Materials, Lean Lab, Design, and Program Operations.+ Communicate the schedule or display it on a weekly basis; update inputs and changes to schedule and assess what occurred week over week. Be able to explain schedule pushes or pull ins.+ For items on critical path, establish action plans and execute the plans to get the component back on track.+ Establish weekly/bi-weekly updates to program leadership to communicate status, pressure to plan, and action plans.+ Gather from the team the scope of work required to complete development and manufacturing activities. Understand how many hours it will take and what that cost will be. Participate in budget and strategy planning.+ Establish internal team rhythm to understand manufacturing risks and opportunities and how it impacts schedule; analyze financials and gather commentary on schedule performance.+ Help the Lab team with manufacturing planning. Help with capacity plans (equipment/headcount needs), help or receive starts per week/per month, gather all other readiness actions that need to be captured in order to start.+ Respond to CPD memos as the Lab buyer – ensure correct ones are reviewed at PCB and you are responding to program/design accordingly.+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.**Required Qualifications**+ Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college+ Minimum 6 years of experience in an engineering or project management function**Desired Characteristics**+ Experience with TRL and MRL programs and processes+ Familiarity with Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs)+ Strong oral and written communication skills.+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.+ Established project management or operational skills._This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
