**Job Description-Intern**Join our dynamic team and immerse yourself in the exciting world of marketing, communications, and event planning! This hands-on internship provides valuable professional experience on campus, working closely with the Hornet Hospitality Marketing Department and the intern team. You will support marketing functions, meal plan sales, campus events, social media initiatives, health & wellness, and sustainability projects for Hornet Hospitality.This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. This is a part-time position for Sac State students.COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.38 to $23.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.**Job Responsibilities**? Responsible for performing administrative functions including distributing mail, ordering, and stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors? Assists unit management with clerical tasks in relation to accounting, payroll, receiving, and/or human resources including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc.? Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary? Maintain office memos and informative postings? Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS OfficeAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.**Qualifications**Must be a current or incoming (Fall 2024) Sac State undergraduate or graduate student, with juniors, seniors, or graduate students preferred.· Marketing or other relevant majors preferred.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).· Experience with content creation platforms (e.g Canva) preferred.· Experience in photography and video editing preferred.· Strong creative and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.· Availability to work 10-20 hours per week.· Flexible schedule around class hours and business needs, with a preference for availability during lunch (10:30 AM - 2:00 PM) and dinner (4:00 PM - 6:30 PM) times.
