As a fast-growing firm, we need our contributors to be their best self, showcasing their talents and having fun.**About the role**Under moderate supervision of a licensed interior designer, performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design techniques for small and large projects. Exercises independent judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying standard design techniques and procedures.All aspects of descriptions of previous titles are incorporated and required for position.**What you’ll do**All aspects of descriptions of previous titles are incorporated and required for position.Collaborates with team to suggest finishes, fixtures, and furniture for projectsCollaborates with team in developing design solutions that meet the client’s needs on time and budgetAssists in design and documentation from Concept through the ConstructionBuilds graphic formatting and story boards for client presentationsActively supports compliance with BIM project standards and proceduresParticipates in presentations that communicate design concepts to the clientCoordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirementsProduces or directs the creation of renderings and presentationsWorks to master the development, continuity and detailing of design conceptsDevelops high-quality drawing and documentation sets that are clear, comprehensive and consistentAssists with vendor interface and coordination with library resources**What you’ll need**+ B.A. or B.F.A. in Interior Design from Council for Interior Design Accreditation curriculum or+ B.A. or M.A. in Architecture from accredited architectural curriculum (National+ Architectural Accrediting Board or Canadian Architectural Certification Board).+ Academic background in Architecture or Interior Design+ NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) certification or in process.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to optimally present information.+ Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.+ Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to tackle problems in standard.
