Technical Design -full time

Swim company is seeking a Mid level Technical Designer with Swim and sleepwear, outerwear experiencein Children's, Women's, Men's.Knowledge of Patterns and grading is a plus.ResponsibilitiesSubmit detailed sketches along with tech packs including measurements and size grading.Collaborate with design team assisting with initial spec.Update Technical Packages to be sent to in house factories and overseas vendors including construction sketch, construction description, and garment proposed specs.Ensure fit samples are align with design aestheticFollow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy throughout all fit stagesEvaluate each garment spec measurements and construction details.Review with vendors on grading and/or construction corrections that are required.Must be able to solve problems and identify fit problemsTeam player, be able to work well with others and independentlyQualificationsCollege degree or equivalent work experienceProficient Microsoft Excel and Adobe suitePLM, Browzwear and V-stitcher, Optitex is a plusKnowledge of Patterns, Grading and Garment construction is a must5 years technical design experience in including knowledge of women's/kids, and men'sWalmart experience is a plusBenefits:Health Insurance, Dental, Vison, 401k,
