Job Details:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Designer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about designing custom and luxury homes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential design, drafting, and the use of software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Softplan. This position is an excellent opportunity to showcase your design skills and make a significant impact on our clients' lives by creating their dream homes.
Responsibilities:As our Permanent Residential Designer, you will have the opportunity to shape our clients' visions into reality. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborating with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget to create a home design that exceeds their expectations.2. Producing detailed drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Softplan.3. Developing comprehensive design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.4. Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design specifications are met.5. Reviewing and modifying designs based on feedback from clients or construction teams.6. Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the construction industry.7. Ensuring all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:The successful candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential design, with a focus on custom and luxury homes.3. Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Softplan.4. Excellent drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.5. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.6. Exceptional communication and client service skills.7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.8. Demonstrated ability to translate client needs and preferences into stunning and functional home designs.
