Way to Win is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this pivotal role will shape and execute our communications strategy, developing compelling content and amplifying the work of our diverse initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the political landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in integrated marketing and storytelling.Cross-team collaboration:

Ability to work closely and collaboratively with members of other teams, including Advising, Design, and Political, to coordinate the creation of products, such as one-pagers, memos, decks, end-of-year reports, newsletters, and more, as needed.Leadership presence:

Ability to manage and execute cross-functional team activities, communicate to advising, political, and design leaders within Way to Win directly with members and partners, and motivate collaborators around shared goals, responsibilities, and deadlines.Knowledge of the political landscape:

Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the political landscape, including federal and local elections.Data-driven marketing and storytelling:

A combination of using data to drive marketing strategy and plans and being able to tell the stories of what contributes to success with our audience. Using data analysis is key to assessing our Mailchimp programs' performance and making course corrections where needed.Integrated marketing:

Ability to build and execute end-to-end communications and marketing campaigns, measure and review results, and adjust as needed. Manage communications and execute an ongoing cadence for our vehicles, including the Way to Action Fund, and (c)3 work on the Valiente Fund and Way to Rise.Creativity and vision:

Ability to brainstorm and envision a long-term trajectory for Way to Win communications, maintain a bird' s-eye view of how communications overlay across all channels and vehicles, and flag any issues for the Director of Internal Communications.Maintain and ensure compliance:

Work with our legal and Ops+ team to ensure legal compliance and separationfor our various vehicle communications.Primary responsibilities:Work closely with the Director of Internal Communications and the Communications team to execute the strategic direction for all Communications activities, special projects, and events.Develop project goals, strategies, and work plans for multiple communications projects and products, including our Halftime Report, End of Year Report, and regular Listserv and Mailchimp communications, and drive those projects forward.Assess and adapt plans to effectively execute projects to meet goals, delegating where needed.As an expert in Way to Win Action Fund, Way to Rise, and Valiente’s voice and brand, develop and implement copy and other communications content.Closely collaborate with program teams and senior management on content development for communications products.Work closely with Way to Win staff across vehicles to amplify their work using established and new external facing marketing initiatives.Develop and execute an integrated communications and marketing plan, addressing our member audiences and nurturing programs for these target audiences, including in-person, digital, and other types of engagement.Support occasional rapid-response work around breaking political news, including watching debates, drafting listserv messages, and drafting memos.This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the political landscape. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating the vision and successes of Way to Win and its various initiatives.The ideal candidate for this position will possess:A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in communications and marketing, preferably within the political or nonprofit sectors.A strong understanding of the political landscape at both federal and local levels.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects.Exceptional storytelling abilities, leveraging data to drive narratives and marketing strategies.Experience in Salesforce and Mailchimp.Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt plans as needed.Creativity and vision to brainstorm and develop long-term communications strategies.Knowledge of legal compliance in communications, particularly within political or nonprofit organizations, is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A proactive and strategic mindset, able to work under pressure and handle rapid-response situations effectively.If you are a passionate and driven communications professional committed to making a difference in the political landscape, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Way to Win.Salary and Generous Benefits PackageSalary Range:
