Your application will not be considered without examples of your work.Job Description:We seek a Floral Designer with at least five years of experience, particularly in events or high-volume commercial florists. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing deadlines and have a proven track record of creating complex designs that less experienced designers can replicate. Clear and precise communication and proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite are essential.Floral Arrangement Creation and Design Development:Lead the creation and creative direction of new floral designs.Adapt designs for mass production, ensuring they can be efficiently reproduced.Develop physical prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet high standards.Ensure all necessary materials are available for timely development and production.Consult on ship testing of new products and find solutions for failed results.Training and Supervision:Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials for production designers.Train and supervise lead designers and QC teams, ensuring accurate reproduction of designs.Continuously assess and enhance designers' skills, focusing on precision and consistency.Collaborate with operations to align staffing and training with production needs.Material and Production Management:Document and manage materials used for development and training.Communicate detailed production standards, including packing, shipping, and QC instructions.Introduce and integrate new materials while streamlining production efficiency.Monitor production for adherence to quality and design accuracy, addressing any discrepancies.Liaison and Support:Work closely with the warehouse team to QC new floral components and manage complex arrangements.Assist the production team with complex newly-launched arrangements as necessary.Design and install custom floral arrangements for high-profile clients and partnerships.Ensure all custom designs are executed flawlessly and align with brand standards.General Responsibilities:Visit retail stores to review product quality and provide feedback.Create and manage social media content that showcases the design process and brand story.Supervise and train temporary designers during peak periods, ensuring consistent quality.Optimize warehouse organization and production processes to improve efficiency.This role is full-time and onsite in our Secaucus, NJ warehouse.At least five years of experience working with flowers.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverage.2 weeks of paid time off, in addition to 9 company holidays.$60 discount on Venus et Fleur products.
