The Sales and Marketing Associate functions as a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, directly supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing. The Sales and Marketing Associate is responsible for generating and managing leads, conducting tours, and closing sales to meet, exceed and maintain occupancy goals. This role focuses on building relationships with prospective residents and their families, ensuring a smooth transition into the community. The Sales & Marketing Associate also establishes and maintains professional relationships with medical professionals and community referral sources. The Sales and Marketing Associate educates senior care referral sources on our services and consults with families by providing options for senior care and guiding them in their decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing preferred, or an associate’s degree and equivalent combination of work experience as a Sales and Marketing Associate

· 1-3 years of experience in sales, with proven ability to generate and close a high percentage of qualified leads.

· Senior living, healthcare or hospitality industry experience preferred.

· Energetic, pleasant, with a positive attitude

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

· Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a highly dynamic environment

· Extraordinary ability to interact and build relationships with older adults and their families

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM Software.

· Ability to convey a positive and professional image to residents, family members, visitors, and co-workers

· Ability to be a self-starter and motivated to initiate and complete tasks independently. Exhibit initiative beyond specific instructions and ability to turn-key projects

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

· Knowledge of the senior living industry and the unique needs of older adults is a plus.

· Valid Driver’s License

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:

· Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed community occupancy goals.

· Conduct tours of the community for prospective residents and their families.

· Follow up with leads and inquiries through phone calls, emails, and personal visits.

· Assist in coordinating move-ins for new residents, ensuring a smooth transition.

· Maintain and update the CRM database with accurate and timely information.

· Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop outreach programs.

Resident Relations:

· Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral sources.

· Takes the lead on resident move-in, creating a warm and welcoming environment while coordinating and maintaining a seamless, dignified, compassionate transition.

· Provide personalized and compassionate service to address the needs and concerns of prospects and their families.

· Effectively communicates the move-in procedure, guiding residents and family members through the process from application completion to move-in day.

· Act as a liaison between new residents and community staff to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

Marketing Support:

· Assist with creating and distributing marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.

· Coordinate and participate in community events, open houses, and other promotional activities.

· Manage the community’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms.

· Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

· Work with the corporate leadership team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.

Reporting and Analysis:

· Track and report sales activities, leads, and occupancy statistics.

· Provide regular updates to the Sales and Marketing Director on sales performance and market trends.

· Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Collaboration:

· Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive resident care and satisfaction approach.

· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and marketing efforts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

· General office environment with individual workspace and standard office noise.

· Ability to travel up to 50% of the time using reliable transportation

· Ability to lift, carry and otherwise transport work-related material that may occasionally weigh more than 25 lbs.

· Mobility is necessary to sit, stand, walk, and tour the community on foot and while visiting potential clients

· Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. weather conditions may be experienced

· Possible exposure to unpleasant odors and chemicals as identified in the MSDS manual.

· Possible exposure to verbal aggression from vendors, guests, residents and/or family members.

· Continuous exposure to clients and/or family members who may be under stress
