Chennai, TN - HYBRID.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Under general guidance, implements, develops, and produces communications such as writing/editing content, creating messaging strategies, and selecting appropriate medium/delivery vehicles, such as digital and social media content and media briefings.Collaborates with assigned client/stakeholder group to establish short- and long-term Content, External or Internal communication strategies.Builds communications plans to execute on the strategies (i.e., which delivery channels to use, timing/cadence of releases, key messages, etc.).Creates content relevant to the established communication strategy, ensuring it meets the requirements of the client/stakeholder as well as any brand, lexicon, or style standards in force from corporate communications or marketing.Writes and edits copy, adapting approach and form to relevant communication channels.Leverages past content to build new/revised content.Consults with more experienced colleagues on unprecedented issues.Coordinates the delivery of finalized content, ensuring appropriate approvals and sign-offs before delivery.Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of delivered communications.Maintains and builds relationships as necessary with third parties such as press and vendors.No direct reports. May provide work guidance to less experienced colleagues.Contributes to the achievement of team goals and objectives.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Degree in Marketing/Communications is preferred.5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Background in a corporate or agency communications setting is preferred.Proven experience with internal and external outreach, social media, and collaboration tools is preferred.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
