About This Position UX Designers at Waystar are responsible for ensuring that the software we create is easy to use, easy to learn, and provides maximum efficiency for the user. Working directly with our energetic and dynamic head of User Experience, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly effective team and build software you will truly be proud of.

Work with Product Managers to transform business goals into actionable UX/UI business requirementsDevelop novel interactions to make complex flows and processes simple and intuitive for the userUse UX/UI business requirements to develop conceptual wireframes and process flows to facilitate the product development conversation, and ultimately guide engineering effortsCreate interactive prototypes to be tested with usersConduct VOC site visits, interviews and surveys to develop a thorough understanding of our users and their daily processesDevelop user task flows to validate our critical paths as optimizedWork with UI Designers to ensure all UX intentions are represented visuallyCollaborate with Engineering to vet and refine UX/UI requirements to ensure successful and practical implementationAnalyze behavioral metrics to suggest improvements for existing user interfacesContribute to an evolving internal standards library of consistent user interactions and best practicesKeep abreast of best practices and design concepts for web software, and champion opportunities for improving overall user experience with Waystar’s productsEnsure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyResolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashionMonitor scope creep and re-scope projects if necessaryWhat You'll Need
Bachelor degree in Human Computer-Interaction or related field, or relevant experience2+ years of experience in designing software UXStrong human factors and usability analysis skillsFamiliarity with the front-end technologies used to implement designs (HTML, CSS, etc.)Strong requirements-gathering and business analysis skillsFluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and designStrong visual, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work in a hyper fast based environment - quickly and iteratively, delivering on-timeExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary product and engineering teamsA strong online portfolio demonstrating your design capabilitiesAbout Waystar Through a smart platform and better experience, Waystar helps providers simplify healthcare payments and yield powerful results throughout the complete revenue cycle.
