We are looking for a Communications professional in our Richmond, VA office to own the brand story for the LifeSpire of Virginia family of communities. The position will oversee an integrated communications and public relations strategy, create branded digital content, and assist in writing, editing, and proofreading various communication pieces. This position will also supervise a Graphic Design Specialist.We have a collaborative and supportive team that supports work/life integration and personal development. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English or similar field preferredThree to five years' experience, preferably within a marketing or communications team environmentComputer proficiency; knowledge of Microsoft Office, WordPress, Adobe, etc.Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tonesSolid writing, grammar, editing and proofreading capabilitiesSocial fluency and a solid understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across digital channelsAbility to think strategically and conceptualize creativelyAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to travel in-state occasionally
