The Senior Manager, Marketing position plays a pivotal role in Marketing as it relates to moving initiatives forward and helping establish a long-range plan to fuel portfolio growth. This would include maximizing revenue and gross profit for products in the infusion delivery systems division by developing and establishing strategic KOL engagement and leveraging relationships and partnerships to support Fresenius Kabi’s message of Caring for Life. Responsibilities include market analysis, branding influence, and strategic planning within this portfolio.

The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.The primary business responsibility is commercializing the Medication Management software product portfolio to include but is not limited to the Ivenix Infusion System and the supporting software platform. This role works directly with the Director of Marketing IVN on new software product development.This Senior Manager position requires heavy reliance on interacting with multiple Fresenius Kabi business functions, including Product Development, Regulatory, R&D, Finance, Customer Service, Project Management, Business Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and National Accounts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and understand Fresenius Kabi’s assigned product line, including current and future market trends for ready-to-administer offerings, products, and competitors.Maintain a thorough understanding of the future pipeline products and their characteristics and market requirements, e.g., competitive landscapes, software product features and benefits, competitive and value-based pricing, market dynamics, and barriers to entry.Lead execution of assigned product launches and line extensions, including developing product forecasts, pricing strategy, sales collateral, and sales and clinical training videos.Develop collaterals ensuring compliance with brand positioning and guidelines, and alignment with strategic marketing plans and financial goals.Ongoing interface with the field, managing customer requests and product requirements.Conduct continuous surveillance of the environmental landscape to assess and make recommendations for organizationally and product-focused future needs to achieve business goals.Actively work with the business analytics team in sales tracking tools to effectively manage sales/marketing programs and increase contract compliance.Provide pricing recommendations to help maximize product sales and gross profit. Serve as a resource and partner in various sales channels such as specialty distributors, wholesalers, and group purchasing organizations. Work with national accounts, trade relations, business analytics, and contract marketing.Develop and support the director of marketing with preparing presentations for senior management about strategic planning and forecasting.Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasting goals between the Market Unit (MU) and the Business Unit (BU). Work with the internal /external stakeholders, supply chain, and customer service to ensure accurate and timely forecasting for new and existing products.Assist in the execution of Advisory Boards and speaker programs. This may involve identifying, recommending, and inviting potential advisors, moderators, and speakers.Work closely with targeted KOLs to obtain feedback vital in developing specific brand-related strategies and evaluating new opportunities.Attend local, regional, and national meetings and industry conferences/conventions as neededParticipates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities.Travel requirement of approximately 50% and is based on business need.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required (Master or advanced degree preferred i.e. PharmD, Nursing, Informatics, etc.).8+ years related work experience, at least 5 years’ experience in the medical device industry, marketing, and market research (financial, statistical analysis, and quantitative a plus)Experience with infusion pump product development or service support is required.Infusion pump interoperability with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Software experience is highly preferred.Hospital IDN knowledge is highly desired.Demonstrated project management experience.Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required.Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining within budget.Ability to work independently to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.Ability to travel to meetings, training programs, and client sites as necessary (approximately 8-10 meetings), domestic and international to include overnight stays based on business needs.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must have the ability and willingness to travel frequently of approximately 50% – Air/Auto travel along with a valid driver’s license.Ability to meet all hospital vendor credentialing requirements.Ability to facilitate and complete projects in a “dotted line” environment.Ability to work independently, prioritize issues, deal with ambiguity, and manage conflicting deadlines.
