Morgridge College Of EducationThe Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Library and Information Science department. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at Registrar's Office schedule of classes. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.Essential FunctionsTeach in person or online once a week;Create and maintain course Canvas container for the onsite courses;Meet with students as needed to support their success;Provide assignment feedback and grades to students in a timely manner;Respond to emails from students and program leadership within 48 business hours;Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed.Required QualificationsMaster’s Degree in relevant content area (e.g., Library & Information Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program)Two years of professional experience in a library, archive, museum, or other information services setting.Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience at the graduate level.Work ScheduleWhile the University’s administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.
