The Director of Athletic Video Services will coordinate and oversee all aspects of athletic video operations. The University of Tulsa offers 17 intercollegiate sports and is a member of the American Athletic Conference at the NCAA Division I (FBS) level. This is a 12-month, full-time staff position.Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Coordinates and oversees the production of all aspects of video board creation and operation, live streaming, digital content, promotional videos, event video, game recaps and highlight packages.Work closely with department leads in the areas of content, communications and marketing to edit videos for a variety of promotional and creative services.Work closely with department lead to meet deadlines for release of content.Incorporate music, video, static and motion graphics to tell compelling and visually pleasing stories.Uphold and execute athletic brand standards.Attend university and athletic events to capture content for athletic department and media use.Perform related duties based on departmental needs including but not limited to: keeping equipment in good working order; purchases, maintaining and repairs equipment as necessary; hires game day personnel; coordinates and maintains an archiving system for athletic video; coordinates with network TV for onsite broadcasts; support day to day operations in logging, organizing and archiving of footage.Serves as liaison and coordinates with ESPN, AAC and production company for ESPN+ campus production broadcasts for all required sports.Coordinates with marketing/Golden Hurricane Sports Properties on game presentations including pre- and post-production work.Handles all video elements for special events throughout the year.Manage and direct a team of students from our Pathways to Sports Academy program.Direct supervisor of the Assistant Director of Athletic Video position.Performs other duties as assigned by the Associate AD, Content & Communications.Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Daktronics video LED systems including Display Studio, Venus 7000 Sequence Designer and Creator Studio to build button scripts and create video board elements.Experience with DV Sport replay system.Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education.3+ years of experience in sports video/television.Experience directing live game productions.Proficient knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Photoshop.Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Ability to set up field/studio lighting in various environmental situations.Working knowledge of control room equipment and positions.
