Communications/ Change Management Consultant

Minimum 14 years of professional experience (Master's Degree can be substituted for four years of experience) in writing, editing, researching, and creating strategic communication plans for a variety of mediums and customizing content to targeted audiences

Familiarity with corporate communications, developing talking points, and generating reports for senior executives

Experience with defining goals and strategies for improving the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of communications and outreach

Experience with running large-scale marketing or change communications

Organized seamlessly managed strategic tasks (developing strategic plans, briefing client executives on recommendations) as well as tactical tasks (preparing PowerPoint briefings, recording meeting outcomes) as needed

Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and creating documents that tell a compelling, relevant, and data-driven story

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

Cadmus Group's Strategy and Transformation Team is looking for a Strategic Communication Consultant to develop and execute effective and integrated communication and change management plans to support technology adoption at a large federal agency

This will include strategies and tactics across all channels, leveraging all communication opportunities, and crossing divisions to produce the most effective communications

In addition, you will work with the client leadership team to develop executive briefings and reports that accurately and succinctly portray program status, implementation progress, and successful adoption tactics

Create and execute strategic communications and change management plans for large-scale technology deployment program

Meet regularly with clients to understand their work, needs and develop collaborative relationships

Design and deliver solutions that will emphasize the organization's core mission and strategy, drive greater team accountability and decrease duplicative efforts

Plan, initiate, and manage communications regarding information technology (IT) projects

Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects

Monitor progress to assure deadlines and quality standards are met

Develop detailed executive reporting materials, primarily in PowerPoint, to track the achievement of goals, identify gaps and recommend solutions

Collaborate enthusiastically with client and team members

Effectively and proactively manage time and work requirements

Maintain high quality work product

Qualifications

Education Requirements: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, public relations or other relevant field is preferred

Minimum 14 years of professional experience (Master's Degree can be substituted for four years of experience) in writing, editing, researching, and creating strategic communication plans for a variety of mediums and customizing content to targeted audiences

Familiarity with corporate communications, developing talking points, and generating reports for senior executives

Experience with defining goals and strategies for improving the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of communications and outreach.

Experience with consulting; government consulting a plus

Experience with running large-scale marketing or change communications

Organized seamlessly managed strategic tasks (developing strategic plans, briefing client executives on recommendations) as well as tactical tasks (preparing PowerPoint briefings, recording meeting outcomes) as needed
