UX Designer

to join the team with JETS II.Job description:Work in a small development team environment alongside NASA scientists, engineers, flight controllers, and other professionals in exploration science labs, test environments, and in the field, in a highly dynamic and occasionally time-critical environment and report to project lead or project manager for technical support, task assignment, and processes.Support the design and alignment process between user needs and feature enhancements the EVA Mission Systems Software (EMSS) software portfolio and International Space Station (ISS) imagery websites (ex: https://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/).Develop data visualization designs, information architecture, workflows, and applications for planetary science and mission data (i.e. EMSS, ISS, and related projects).Investigate science mission operations concepts, software tools, and methodologies for Earth and planetary mission scenarios.Communicate science mission requirements to a range of mission engineering organizations.Deliver products and services in support of mission planning and the integration of science objectives, including the support of geoscience field training exercises in planetary analog environments for NASA teams.Provide test support to NASA and commercial vendors through concept designs, objectives development, documentation and artifact production, field and facility testing logistics and support.Perform other duties as required.Job Requirements:Requisition Qualifications:This position has been posted at multiple levels.
