About The Role

:

The Sr. Manager Media is a key leadership role within the marketing team and the organization. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, with a significant focus on national and local marketing programs and their effectiveness in driving sales and new guest acquisition for Buff City Soap.

This role will wholly own the National Paid Media strategy – planning, executing, measuring, optimizing – in partnership with media buying agency Acadia. Through rapid A/B testing and development of best practices, this role too will partner with Franchisees across the country to ensure cutting-edge media tactics are leveraged locally to maximize sales and new guest acquisition.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in media and bring a fresh, data-backed POV on media tactics to drive awareness, consideration, conversion, & loyalty. Franchise & Retail experience are a plus but not required. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer in our Headquarters in Addison, TX.

Key Responsibilities

:

Own end-to-end the national Paid Media strategy – planning, executing, measuring, optimizing – in partnership with internal creative partners and external media agency Acadia.

Audit existing national media budgets, audience targeting, creative, and plans (eg Paid Search, Meta Lead Gen Ads) and both recommend & execute optimizations to maximize store visits.

Develop fresh, data-backed recommendations for new marketing tactics to drive all parts of the marketing funnel from awareness, consideration, conversion, & loyalty.

Create a toolkit of best practices for local media to drive trips & new guest acquisition for Franchisees. Partner with Franchisee’s local marketing leaders and media agencies to execute.

Serve as a critical partner to the internal creative team to produce new media assets designed with best practices in mind for each platform (eg TikTok, Meta, Youtube, etc).

Partner with internal social & influencer team to develop new methods of procuring best-in-class UGC with full buyout rights for use in national paid media and local campaigns.

Candidate Profile

:

5-7+ years demonstrated success in developing & executing integrated media plans.

Expertise in both traditional (TV, Radio, OOH) and digital channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Streaming, OTT, Programmatic, Affiliate).

Expertise in both national and local integrated marketing tactics. Driving traffic to stores in large metropolitan and small rural markets will be critical to success in this role.

Experienced in a variety of MarTech stack platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok) and analytical tools (Adobe, DMP’s, Programmatic, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Como Loyalty).

Self-starter who is both creative and curious. Resiliency is key for personality fit with Buff City Soap!

Ability to clearly communicate vision and secure alignment across dynamic stakeholder environment: Franchisees, Franchisor Leadership Team, Board of Directors.

Exceptional collaborator! This role requires significant collaboration internally (creative, eComm) and externally (Franchisees, media agency).

Retail and/or Franchise experience is preferred. Candidate must have demonstrated background in driving results for brick & mortar locations (not solely eCommerce websites).
