Job Responsibilities:

Offers complete support and trust to entire church staff promoting an environment of all working together towards the same ultimate goal of life transformation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Develops a manual that teaches volunteers how to run the sound system and livestream equipment. Trains volunteers to run the sound system and livestream equipment. Runs the sound system and livestream at both the 9 and 11 worship services. Runs sound for special events (Ash Wednesday, Preschool, Christmas Eve, Sunrise Service, etc.), weddings and funerals, Praise Band rehearsals, and Youth Worship, as needed. Designs the worship stage in The Connection. Uploads sermons, scripture, etc., to website and social media. Maintains the website. Manages church social media accounts. Creates promotional media, often in collaboration with other staff. Continuing Education: Continuing education is required to remain current with technology advances. Required Skills & Abilities: High school graduate. Strong commitment to excellence and sold out to the mission, purpose, and vision of CFUMC and the UMC Discipline. Genuine and contagious heart for God. Detail oriented. Ability to be strategic and prioritize personal duties along with the duties of the volunteer staff with confidence and very limited guidance. Ability to work under tight time frames in stressful situations. Satisfy requirements of Safe Sanctuary certification. Experience with social media, websites, sound system, and live streaming.
