About the role

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Digestive Health is a core member of the Digestive Health pod team (alongside product management and RD&A) responsible for the strategic vision of the Proactive Health portfolio strategy across digestive health need states such as general digestive support, weight management, IBS and more. The roles primary purpose is to synthesize global consumer category market trends in digestive health to develop a global approach to capture the most value for Kerry with our science-backed, clinically studied ingredients across supplements, food and beverage and pet categories.

In addition, the Sr. Manager is then accountable for partnering with regional marketing and sales leads to translate the health platform strategy into go-to-market plans including external marketing campaigns, sales enablement content, account-based marketing programs, tradeshows and product launches.

Key responsibilities

Lead the digestive health platform deep dives including consumer and category market trends, opportunity sizing, competitive analysis and internal capability assessment in order to provide strategic recommendations to the business for the cognitive health portfolio

Identify new growth opportunities and portfolio gaps within the digestive health portfolio and partner with product management to recommend a build vs. buy approach

Own, maintain and evolve Kerrys global positioning in digestive health and all hero technologies underneath the digestive health platform

Create plug and play global digestive health content toolkits for mobilization in region

Lead new product launches for the digestive health platform including creation of value proposition, content creation and integrated marketing campaigns

Partner with RD&A on internal new product innovation projects, collaborating on the design and strategic objectives of new clinical studies

Partner with regional marketing leads on thought leadership opportunities such as speaking events and sponsorships

Manage the digestive health portfolio brand guidelines and trademarks

Act as Brand Manager for the BC30 probiotic brand, including management of trademarks, customer front-of-pack labeling approvals, digital content, and brand evolution.

Collaborate on M&A strategic with market assessment, business rationale and integration planning as relevant for digestive health

Qualifications and skills

Minimum BS in Business / Marketing with 8+ years of relevant and progressive experience. Masters degree in relevant field of study preferred.

B2B marketing experience preferred in a global organization.

Experience in the supplements or nutraceutical industry preferred.

Experience working in marketing for a probiotic, prebiotic or postbiotic company preferred.

Strategic planning experience required.

Experience working in a matrix organization strongly preferred.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Dynamic presentation skills. The ability to communicate strategy in simple language required.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent project streams, with a track record of getting things done at a high level of quality.

Strong entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to effectively navigate in ambiguity.

Excellent team and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization, engaging with internal teammates towards company goals.

Compensation data

The typical hiring range for this role is $105.129 to $159.134 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
