Visit our website derse.com to learn more!As a Marketing Specialist supporting our in-house marketing team in Milwaukee, you'll handle a variety of tasks to better position and prepare our organization in the market. The Marketing Specialist will provide support in proposal development & project management, sales & prospecting efforts, as well as handling brand promotion, communications, and overall brand adherence. This position must reside within our Corporate office, and is expected to be onsite a minimum of 4 days per week. If you have a creative, yet technical mindset...read through and apply if this sounds like the opportunity for you!Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:Coordinate proposal and pitch deliverables from kickoff to development to production to delivery for competitive opportunities that have large potential sales volume or that are deemed appropriate based on scopeProvide technical writing, technical editing, document management, content development, and production coordination, as neededAssist account teams in the development, review, editing, and production of custom/unique contentApply brand positioning and service/capability differentiation under the direction of account/corporate leaders and departmental leadersSupervise graphic design involvement, document approvals, and production standardsLead project management efforts with all relevant and directly responsible members of the account pursuit teamPartner with key internal stakeholder to ensure accuracy and high-quality deliverables in RFX responsesPartner with marketing stakeholders to help in the development, implementation, and communication of sales enablement materialsPartner with corporate sales and marketing stakeholders to support prospecting initiatives through project management, marketing automation, and writingProject manage sales support requests from receipt through completionRecommend content and information to account teams for specific sales initiativesSuggest process improvements and new ways to elevate sales enablement and prospectingMonitor existing business for new case study/story opportunities, while writing new success storiesProvide strong insight and suggestions for website contentResearch aware opportunities and identify applicable Derse projects for submissionRequirementsMarketing Specialist Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required.3+ years of relevant experience required. Trade show, event, and/or new business development efforts preferred.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong background in technical writing and some creative writing.Experience within project management lifecycle is beneficial to this position.
