Midtown New York (2 Days Hybrid in office)Our client is a pet insurance tech startup and they’re looking for a Product Designer to join the team. They offer an insurance and wellness platform for pet owners and veterinarians. They’ve been around for 5+ years, have a little over 100 employees, and a very pet friendly office in Midtown New York.They’re in need of a Product Designer to join their team of 4 and work on revamping their new veterinarian tools. There will be a fair amount of research involved, however you will be working end to end. They’re looking for people who have solved complex design problems in the past, with strong consumer facing and internal software experience.Requirements

5+ years of professional design experience in-house or at a startup.Exceptional skills in UX and UI design, capable of delivering polished and compelling visual work.Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Miro.Strong understanding of product design strategy and agile methodologies.Proven ability to translate user insights and problems into clear design solutions.Responsibilities

Design end-to-end experiences for claims adjusters, pet owners, and pets, ensuring these solutions drive business results.Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure product consistency.Partner closely with engineering to oversee the product development cycle and ensure high-quality outputs.Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies to enhance the design process.Benefits The team enjoys a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their dependents. competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
