NoDuties and Responsibilities Duties of this position include answering telephones, dispatching officers and university staff to non-emergency and emergency situations, communicating with all units of the university and other law enforcement agencies, recording all events into the department computer and reporting software, monitoring campus safety cameras in real time, and conducting computer searches in law enforcement databases. This position works at the Lake Shore Campus and will have to maintain a flexible schedule and work weekends as well as weekdays. The position reports operationally to the Watch Commander and may need to work extended shifts as directed. The position reports administratively as assigned.Minimum Education and/or Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent and up to one year of data processing experience.Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred requirement of college coursework related to public safety, law enforcement or criminal justice.
