With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.The Wealth Channel Marketing Manager reports to the Global Head of Channel Marketing at Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) and is responsible for developing, executing and managing integrated campaigns to expand and deepen the relationship with clients and prospects.This role will serve as a strategic business partner that works in close collaboration with Northern Trust Wealth Management and NTAM’s Wealth Client Group to create and execute various marketing initiatives to add value and garner mindshare among financial professionals and their clients.The ideal candidate will have an investor-centric mindset, advanced knowledge of investment markets and strategies, and an understanding of distribution processes in order to create effective lead generation and awareness strategies within these distinct investor segments. They will also preempt the needs of their investor segments – developing a content and communications strategy in response to their evolving needs and the market environment.Responsibilities:Create and execute scalable channel marketing and communication strategies to both improve awareness and adoption of our capabilities to Wealth ManagementCreate personalized messaging and promotional activities to increase engagementDevelop robust communication channels to ensure constant feedback loops with senior leadership in Wealth ManagementDerive data-driven insights from marketing activities and third-party platforms to inform marketing activities and increase their effectivenessCreate a methodical understanding of client needs/pain-points, prioritize and execute against them with rigorCreate high-quality investor-focused content, campaigns and collateral to generate leads and establish our company as an industry leaderDevelop strategic partnership with Northern Trust Wealth Management to serve their clients with excellence, leveraging innovative solutionsDemonstrate initiative and creativity in independently recommending and implementing marketing solutions. Analyze costs impacting marketing decisions and other related issues and develops cost effective solutions to marketing issuesCommunicate progress, issues, and solutions to senior management to obtain input and buy-in. Provide written and verbal communication to many different audiences on status of marketing efforts.Qualifications:5-15 years product marketing, channel marketing, sales or investment (client-facing oriented) role within an investment management organizationProven track record in driving engagement and adoption of investment products in any capacity (sales, marketing, investment specialist, etc.)Skilled influencer with the ability to gain buy-in at all levelsAbility to engage diverse set of stakeholders, build long-term relationships, and create a collaborative and approachable environmentSuperior written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage and navigate multiple stakeholders and competing objectivesUndergraduate degree.
