Our mission is to advance, foster, and spur the development and application of nuclear science, engineering, and technology to benefit society.Job SummaryThis position offers an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on the future of an industry that is playing a critical role in addressing climate change by delivering reliable and clean energy, saving lives through innovative healthcare solutions, and furthering space exploration.ANS is seeking a Marketing Manager to help grow the Society’s membership and increase participation in its conferences, webinars, outreach, and professional development programs. The role will have a particular emphasis on launching ANS’s new Certified Nuclear Professional credential and certificate courses, as well as expanding its K-12 STEM efforts. We are looking for an individual who has experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns utilizing a variety of channels, including email, social media, and other marketing resources.Duties and Responsibilities:Develops and implements strategic marketing campaigns to successfully promote ANS membership, meetings, and other programs, products, and services.Creates and executes marketing campaigns for the Society’s new Certified Nuclear Professional credential and professional development certificate courses.Grows the K-12 outreach program through focused marketing efforts aimed at increasing educator reach and engagement.Oversees and maintains the ANS brand, including providing oversight to graphic design team.Provides direct supervision and guidance to graphic design specialist.Manages email marketing campaigns, including writing, editing, and distributing emails for all ANS marketing initiatives.Utilizes Adobe Marketo email automation to streamline and increase the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Manages the content and marketing capabilities of the ANS website, including SEO optimization.Produces marketing materials including printed handouts, promotional items, direct mail, exhibit booth materials, and other requests.Develops social media and digital marketing strategies to expand ANS’s outreach.Distributes other ANS communications, including newsletters and Professional Division emails.Evaluates the Society’s marketing efforts on an ongoing basis and identifies opportunities to introduce new marketing ideas to improve performance.Skills Required:

Organized, detail-oriented, and strong customer service attitude. Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision. Computer literacy including: MS Office, AMS, and Marketo or related email automation software.Education:

4-year degreeExperience:

Minimum 3-5 years of digital marketing experience. Association or nonprofit experience is beneficial.
