In this role, you will make a positive impact on the growth of the business while enriching your understanding of the products, technologies, and customers. We will provide the resources you will need to learn and lead a portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and have a vision to advance their career in marketing.Specific Responsibilities IncludeParticipate in product initiatives, giving insights and recommendations based on market analysis, customer feedback, and technical expertise, and assisting in the development of cases and product roadmaps.Assist in the preparation of quotes for products by collecting and analyzing relevant data, including cost estimates, market trends, and customer requirements.Resolve details, scope, pricing, costs, schedule, and terms for proposals, specific developments, and requests for quotations/proposals (RFQs/RFPs); validate and sanction the final proposals crafted by the sales team prior to their delivery to clients.Work closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of product development and commercialization efforts with goals and requirements.Lead the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including product planning, development, launch, and ongoing support.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including product specifications, technical manuals, and sales support materials, and provide regular reports on product performance, market, and competitive landscape.Coordinate with the Operations team to assign production slots and supervise quarterly product revenue.How You Will Get HereEducationBachelor's Degree (B.S./ B.A.) from a four-year college or university or higher degree with meaningful work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Master's Degree (M.S./ M.B.A) in a science or business-related field preferred.ExperienceMinimum 3 years' experience (or equivalent) in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.Experience in product management, finance, marketing.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation abilities.Independently motivated to meet deadlines and handle project timelines.Works on shared projects with other functions such as engineering, operations, marketing, and customers.Diligent and organized.Demonstrates the Thermo Fisher Scientific values (The Four I's) - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
