Drive Strategic Marketing Initiatives: You will collaborate closely with the Revenue organization to align on goals, target accounts, and demographic focuses. By crafting comprehensive marketing plans that leverage both in-person and virtual events, such as conferences and tradeshows, as well as other marketing campaigns, you will drive new sales opportunities, accelerate existing ones, deepen customer relationships, and enhance brand visibility for Expel.Develop and Optimize Brand Activation Strategies: You will create and implement effective brand activation strategies, set clear targets for lead generation and pipeline building, and rigorously evaluate the return on investment. By closely monitoring performance and making data-driven improvements, you will ensure that we meet and exceed our booking goals.Enhance Event Planning and Execution: You will oversee every aspect of event and program planning, from pre-event strategy to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. Your focus will be on optimizing Expel’s brand presence, fulfilling sponsorship commitments, promoting events effectively, supporting onsite staff, and continuously evolving event strategies to boost engagement and impact.Manage Vendor Relationships Effectively: You will manage and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure they align with our goals and deliver value. This includes assessing the quality of audience engagement, lead generation, and overall fit with Expel’s objectives to ensure maximum return on our investments.Act as a Marketing Resource and Advocate: You will serve as a marketing champion and resource for the Revenue organization, providing valuable enablement tools, sharing best practices, and streamlining processes. Your goal will be to help the Revenue team maximize their resources and achieve their targets through effective marketing support and collaboration.What you should bring with you

Over 5 years as a Marketer for an enterprise/SaaS tech company, preferably experienced in managing events and programs from start to finish.Experience working in a fast-pace environment with ability to swiftly adapt to change, swiftly pivoting strategies and execution as needed.You want to learn, whether you’re familiar or not about cybersecurity. This industry is always changing, and so are we.A proven record of managing multiple projects at once, while working well with sales teams to help, launch, and track results.Additional Notes

Pay range: $106,100 - 153,800 + bonus eligibility and equity.We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia, however our team is mostly remote, and we have full support for remote interaction.
