In this diverse position, you will assist our Build, Launch, and Growth team in a number of key areas during the Design, Build, and Launch process of new locations. A Build & Design Manager will oversee the process of a construction project from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and MS Outlook. Attention to detail is required. Ultimately, a Build & Design Manager should contribute directly to the successful launch of a new Streamline Brands school. This is a remote, full-time salaried position with some travel required.Salary Range:
$70,000.00 To 85,000.00 AnnuallyResponsibilitiesAssist the Build, Launch, and Growth team in the execution of all Streamline standards and processes with our Franchisees/Company-Owned School Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise Company-Owned construction projects from start to finishManage the design process using commercial, contractual, program/time awareness, and technical expertiseSupport Franchisees with consistent consulting efforts throughout their build processWork with franchisees to ensure brand standards are being metReview floor plans on Franchisee and Company-Owned builds and provide feedback to uphold Streamline Brands standards in material, design, and facility standardsCoordinate with the Build team and the Launch teamProcess documentation and improvementTravel onsite periodically during builds and acquisitionsAvoid errors and reduce financial risk during constructionJob Requirements:A passion for overseeing a raw project through development and construction into a turnkey operation.The job requirements include the following:Bachelor's Degree or Higher3 years previous experience as General Contractor, Project Manager, and/or Build and Design ManagerOverseen Development and Construction while launching locationsStrong communication skills (interpersonal and telephonic) and ability to work effectively in a team environmentAble to use a computer and the main software packages competently including Microsoft suite and Procore (or similar platform)Ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyEnsuring projects stay on time and on budgetAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficient Build Set knowledgeSubmit projects for permitting and follow up with city officials to ensure projects stay on timeOverseeing the design process using technical expertiseAlignment with Streamline’s mission, vision, and valuesPerform job responsibilities in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner at all timesFlexible schedule occasionally requiredOther duties as assignedCompensation and BenefitsStreamline offers a number of compensation and benefits, including:A company culture of trust and supportStreamline Brands pays at or above market wages, commensurate with experienceFree swim lessons for immediate family of employees at Company-Owned locationsMultiple career growth tracks100% paid employee-only health insurancePaid time off accrual based on tenureFlexible work scheduleSkillsAdvanced knowledge of construction processes and materialsKnowledge of permit processesDesign skills and knowledgeAble to come up with new ways of doing thingsBe thorough and pay attention to detailAnalytical thinking skillsLeadership and motivational skills
