Ecommerce Marketing Manager

you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic ecommerce marketing initiatives to drive online sales and revenue growth.Reporting to the Director, Digital & Direct Marketing you will be responsible for leading our ecommerce marketing efforts, optimizing user experiences, and implementing data-driven strategies to maximize conversion rates and customer acquisition. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.What you will do:Develop and lead ecommerce strategies and initiatives to grow new pet enrollments through Trupanion.comOptimize user experiences and implement optimization strategies to maximize conversion rates and drive customer acquisitionBring to life the Trupanion value proposition across the site to grow visit to enrollment KPIs and create a compelling brand experienceDevelop and execute SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and enrollmentsWork closely with Marketing Managers to ensure seamless and optimized onsite experience for paid and partner channel leadsWork closely with Marketing Managers to drive trial membership activations and conversionPartner with the Ecommerce Product Owner to create a development roadmap aligned to ecommerce goals and work hand-in-hand on prioritized development initiativesPartner with Contact Centre leads to find the perfect balance across web, chat and phone to achieve enrollment and conversion goalsWork close with the Ecommerce Analyst to report and analyze ecommerce performance metrics/user feedback, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve the online shopping experienceStay abreast of e-commerce trends, digital technology advancements, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.Lead and develop the Ecommerce team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Experience you have:A strong commercial background with proven track record in delivering online sales results5+ years of proven experience in creating best in class journeys through consumer facing websitesExperience in digital customer acquisition ideally through digital subscription productsExpertise in using web analytics, A/B testing, site personalization and user journeys to identify, optimize and measure improvement opportunitiesStrong understanding of and success in implementing SEO strategiesExpertise in making informed, data-driven decisions using web analytics/digital data with proficiency in web analytics tools (GA4, Contentsquare)Strong understanding of web design principles and UX/UI best practicesHands-on experience in managing and utilizing content management systems.Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.Excellent collaborator and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Experience in Financial Services or other federally regulated industries is an advantageCompensation:The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 on a full-time schedule.Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members.
