Our advertising agency client is looking for a Medical Editor with 5+ years' experience for an immediate contract going until the end of the year. You'll be working on editing, proofing, and fact-checking medical information as well as medical affairs content.Required:
Demonstrated domain knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, regulatory/scientific guidelines, and key statistical concepts.Conduct outstanding literature searches using appropriate search strategy, keywords, and a variety of sources when researching journal articles and medical research papers.Perform content reviews, correctly interpret results, identify potential limitations, and discuss unexpected findings.Be organized, dedicated, and respect metrics-driven timelines and accountability for quality.Generate content outlines that contain a clearly highlighted story arc and a complete reference list.Develop client-ready drafts of content in various forms (slide decks, executive and comprehensive summaries, and other meeting materials).Organize and annotate references in accordance with client's directives or house style.Qualifications:
2+ years relevant experience as a Medical Writer.Experience fact-checking, proofreading, and editing medical content.Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and reference-management software (e.g., EndNote).
