LMN Architects is seeking an exceptional AEC marketing/proposal specialist to join our high-functioning marketing and business development team. As an integral member of our 8-person BD team, you will assume primary responsibility for crafting high quality, visually compelling brochures, proposals, and interview presentations.Position DescriptionWorking directly with technical staff and firm leadership, you will manage the full life cycle of the proposal process from initial review and strategy to finalization, production, submittal, and interview. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks, perform under tight deadlines and motivate others is key to your success in this role.Our ideal candidate is a confident, proactive self-starter and strong project manager who possesses excellent writing and communication skills, superior time management and organizational skills, a relentless attention to detail, and a helpful, collaborative mindset. We are looking for an experienced storyteller with a passion for AEC marketing who thrives on the chase and is driven to win.Key ResponsibilitiesMany of the activities for this position are deadline-driven, complex, and self-directed. The successful candidate will work independently, while also enjoying the support of a highly collaborative marketing and business development team. Responsibilities include:Lead the coordination and production of high-quality proposals and interview materials, including document management, technical writing, editing narrative, gathering images, proposal layout, and coordinating sub-consultant information.Research background materials and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements to identify compelling and compliant win and layout strategies.Lead proposal kick-off and other review meetings both virtually and in office.Ensure timely proposal deliverables by managing self and other members of proposal team, including monitoring progress, managing proposal process and schedule.Lead the coordination and development of visually compelling interview presentations.Collaborate with marketing leadership and technical teams to conceptualize and develop persuasive written and graphic materials for marketing collateral, including resumes, project sheets, brochures, and award submittals.Conduct additional market and other research as needed.Maintain library of proposal narratives and graphics.Maintain marketing databases; experience with Deltek a plus.Key QualificationsMinimum of (5) years proposal experience in the AEC industry with a passion for proposal development and winning work.Must possess a thorough understanding of the proposal process, including submission requirements, graphic layout, narrative, schedules, production, delivery, and interview preparation and presentation.Strong writing and editing skills with a proven ability to express and present design qualifications through concise, compelling narrative.Proven experience developing graphics in response to complex solicitations.Confident, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive, with proven ability to effectively take ownership, organize work tasks and manage multiple deadlines.Fast, efficient, and flexible with excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving ability.Proven ability to work collaboratively in both a remote and in-person team environment to meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize work while adapting to a variety of working styles.Must possess strong computer software skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or similar.The Senior Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager and regularly interacts with the Director of Business Development, architectural staff, and other firm leadership.Please note this is NOT a digital marketing or social media focused position. Employees accrue a minimum of 3 weeks of PTO during their first year with LMN and observe 8 holidays, including 1 floating holiday. This position is anticipated to be filled with a salary range of $85,000-$95,000.LMN employees collaborate in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are flexible workdays that allow employees to work in the office, from home, or any other location they choose.
