If you answered yes to both of those questions, then let’s chat about the Sr. Vice President Marketing position at IT’SUGAR.The Vice President of Marketing leads the company’s Marketing and Creative Teams and plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand marketing strategy. Responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for marketing and advertising; and coordination with promotional sales. This individual will work cross-functionally to drive brand growth and profitability while ensuring our marketing portfolio aligns with our brand mission.What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting!Creative:Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with IT’SUGAR’s brand mission, vision, values, and long-term growth strategies across all social channels.Drive the long-term creative evolution of the brand in partnership with Product, Merchandising, Media, and Store Teams.Strengthen brand awareness and equity by leveraging marketing strategies driving growth throughout the organization.Collaborate closely with the Merchandise and Product teams to ensure innovative concepts meet brand expectations and financial goals.Communicate Visual and Product Marketing strategies to key stakeholders.Shop the market for relevant trends and Marketing opportunities and stay up to date on the competitive landscape.Encourage and support new Marketing opportunities and innovation – leveraging the right balance of limitless creativity and the application of data-driven insights.Project:Lead the generation of brand and product marketing ideas from conceptualization to implementation to improve customer experiences.Determine appropriate assignments for the Marketing team members to design and execute creative solutions.Develop, execute, monitor, and adjust project plans, resources, and strategies to ensure the deliverables are on time, within budget, and adhere to high-quality standards.Establish and maintain vendor relationships to manage expectations, provide timely feedback, and maximize cost efficiency, quality, timeliness, and responsiveness.Leadership:Member of the IT’SUGAR Executive Leadership Team.Lead the development of the Marketing team, creating a culture of high-performance, increasing collaboration, and driving internal growth.Work cross-functionally with the Buying Team to coordinate products, promotions, and pricing.Research, monitor, and analyze industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Interface with industry and professional organizations to increase brand awareness, expand networking opportunities, and remain knowledgeable of marketing/creative strategies, tools, and trends.Strengthen the P&L performance, using analytics, CRM, and multi-channel marketing.What you need to join the fun! (besides SUGAR)Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Product Design/Management, Visual Arts or related field, MBA preferred.10+ years of experience as a Director of Marketing or Vice President in confections, fashion, beauty, and/or lifestyle brands with a proven track record of driving customer demand and revenue growth. Retail experience is preferable.Omni-channel experience is strongly preferred.Experience developing multi-year plans and budgets.Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants.Strong Computer Skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Established portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of successful marketing management and strategic implementation of products and/or designs.Track record in establishing brands through a variety of strategies and channels – with a focus on experiential, digital, social media, and content marketing.Active and effective prioritization of the team’s workload and ability to proactively manage deliverables.Ability to translate trends and knowledge into actionable opportunities.Agility and capability to respond to changes in consumer preferences and market trends.Experience in overseeing product development and execution that links to brand positioning.Exceptional people management and mentoring skills, with strength in building a collaborative work environment and inspiring creativity in others.Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, strong positive leadership.Ability to foster an environment of creativity that pushes innovative ideas while guiding the team to connect with the customer and deliver on our brand mission.Possess an understanding of competitor positioning, differentiators, strengths, and weaknesses.Ability to thrive in a creative, humorous, and fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Ability to recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent through networking, coaching, and training.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive business strategies and initiatives.What’s in it for you?
