The Financial Products team is committed to bringing financial freedom to all our customers. We focus on the core of Cash App’s mission—redefining the world’s relationship with money. We pride ourselves in rethinking established paradigms and bringing creative solutions into existence in the financial space.The Families charter is to design simple, useful, and delightful experiences that maximize trust and expand access to Teens, Families. This role demands a dynamic balance: diving into hands-on design for a variety of practical projects— ensuring trust and safety for teens on our platform, creating an industry defining banking offering for teens, and growing our audience.Product Designers at Cash App take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production. This includes vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, bringing along cross-functional teams, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers.In this role, you will:

Be accountable for the craft of the experiences and interfaces that our customers interact with.Promote an inclusive environment for creativity and growth, and facilitate connections across teams and disciplines.Play a role across the organization and make strategic design decisions as a partner to Business, Product and Engineering and be a voice for leveraging design across the organization.Bring comfort and expertise in technical environments, including knowledge of the mobile client-side development process.Be an influential voice at the leadership level alongside peers in Product, Engineering, Data Science and Customer Insights.Actively contribute to Design team culture and take ownership for Inclusion & Diversity efforts.Qualifications We’re looking for someone who has:Experience mentoring other designers, providing feedback and coaching work.A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging solutions.An innate understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences.Establish a design voice in critique settings to help support team members.The ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap.Comfort with an iterative design process that includes soliciting and acting on feedback.Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect the dots across the entire customer journey.Experience in designing for multiple platforms, including mobile (both iOS and Android) and web.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to influence outcomes.Know how to interpret data and inform design decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative insights.Lead with the voice of the customer and have a deep understanding of human-centered design principles.Ability to bring ideas to life in prototypes to enhance the customer story.Previous work experience in a consumer-focused tech organization.An active influencer with strong business acumen to help demonstrate the value of design.Please submit a deck or portfolio of work with your application that showcases your design process from exploratory stages through execution. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
