Ensure customers have fast, reliable delivery of the content they love
Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers
Mentor the next generation of Video Software Engineers
Champion best engineering practices including testing, code/architecture reviews, and accurate documentation
In the role of Senior Software Engineer, Video Delivery, you will report to the Engineering Manager of Video Delivery Engineering.
We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Dallas, San Francisco, or Culver City. Remote work is also a possibility depending on your location.
About You
You have 8+ years of experience in software with a track record for building robust, reliable services and solutions
You are experienced with multiple modern programming languages such as Typescript and Go
You have experience working with cloud technologies in AWS or GCP
You have advanced networking knowledge and are familiar with common CDNs used to deliver video content
You have experience designing and implementing solutions for processing large streams of data
You have in-depth knowledge of HLS and DASH streaming functionality including content steering
You have experience in an Agile environment

We are passionate about providing the best possible playback experience to our fans. We own video from ingestion through playback.
