Develop and implement an innovative communications strategy that aligns with our company's mission to make local information easily accessible and abundantly available, with the goal of helping people everywhere live safer, more vibrant, more truly connected lives.Create all forms of communication materials, including press releases, blog posts, email newsletters, and social media content, highlighting our business's value to over 20,000 local communities, fostering connections and empowerment among local users, content creators, and advertisers.Manage media relations, including pitching stories, handling press inquiries, and building relationships with key journalists and influencers in the industry.Oversee the company's social media strategy, ensuring an active and engaging presence across various platforms, including our Facebook account with 2 million followers and LinkedIn with 20k followers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineering, product, BD/partnerships, sales, and leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.Partner with world-class PR firms to gain strategic insights and enhance the effectiveness of our communication initiatives, ensuring maximum impact and resonance.Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor communications to identify opportunities and challenges.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.3+ years of experience in a communications role, ideally within the technology sector, with a proven track record of driving impactful communication strategies.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.Proficient in managing social media platforms and adept at creating engaging content that resonates with target audiences.Demonstrated experience in media relations, with a solid network of media contacts and the ability to effectively pitch stories and manage press interactions.Strong ownership mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to accountability for achieving results.Creative thinker with meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies accordingly.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Benefits
