Our team is a diverse, talented, collaborative group of designers, content strategists, and user researchers dedicated to designing a world-class B2B e-commerce platform, Alibaba.com, for our global business customers. We work closely with product and business teams across the world to better serve our customers throughout North America, Europe, and South East Asia. Alibaba.com was the first business of Alibaba.com since 1999. We’re looking for an experienced content strategist to join our team and lend a human touch to some of the most complicated corners of Alibaba.com. You will be at the forefront of groundbreaking initiatives and play a crucial role in the use of content strategy to drive business results. You’ll work on everything from awareness content building to AI content implementation, with the primary goal of communicating information effectively and efficiently and creating a positive experience for our users.Position RequirementsResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive awareness content strategy across the features and services on Alibaba.com.Work with various business teams to implement the awareness content strategy throughout channels and mediums that drive key metrics across the user lifecycle from awareness to acquisition, activation, and retention.Build content taxonomies within Alibaba.com AI products based on awareness content and author prompts that demonstrate ideal interactions with Alibaba.com AI products.Manage and evaluate AI behaviors to ensure the responses are accurate, consistent, and follow the guidelines.Author and maintain content policies that govern AI behaviors.Partner with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to drive mindful discussions and develop UX copies that empower high-quality AI product experiences.Make iteration decisions based on user feedback, metrics, accessibility practices, and usability findings.Basic Qualifications3+ years of related full-time experience in help or support content, user education content, technical writing, or content strategy.BA/BS or equivalent in communication, linguistics, information sciences, or similar field.Experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai.Strong short-form writing and copy-editing skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, with the capacity to adapt to changing project needs.Writing portfolio with support or user education content, direct or transactional emails, style guides, etc.Preferred QualificationsStrong project management skills, including managing projects from start to finish, developing and working toward set deadlines, identifying project goals, and tracking progress.Experience working on projects involving cross-functional team collaboration.Experience working with teams from various countries around the world, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.Passionate about content strategy and development in AI tools.Solid understanding of B2B e-commerce experience.Open-minded and receptive to different cultures and ideas.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $119,640/year and $195,600/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
