You will work directly with customers by gathering requirements, discussing options and product selection, and presenting courses of action.This is a hybrid position 3x days on site 2x days remoteResponsibilities
Partner with the sales team to gather design requirements and discuss product selection of projects and designs, site measurement and product inventory, and overall problem solvingAddress design challenges through product selection, space planning, and creating customer presentations in PowerPoint.Assist in client appointments, site measurements, inventories, and articulate product benefits to address client needsProvide budget pricing, maintain the design library, manage tools and sample orders.Build and sustain relationships with vendors and their representativesHandle RFP responses, final pricing, installation documents, and file completed projects.Follow guidance from the Design Manager, collaborate with colleagues, assist walk-in clients, and integrate inventory into proposals.Prioritize tasks with a customer-first attitude, maintain a positive demeanor, and perform additional duties as required.Desired Skills and Experience
4+ years of commercial interior design experience and a 2 year or 4 year degree, or 7+ years of experience w/o degreeExperience using AutoCAD CET 4+ yearsExperience using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook & PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skills
