Bank of America's Healthcare, Education and Not-for-Profit Group (HENFP) is seeking a Commercial Associate. HENFP is part of the Global Commercial Bank which serves public and private companies, generally with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. HENFP is unique, in that our client teams are dedicated to adding value providing bespoke products and solutions to Not-for-Profit Healthcare (Hospital systems), Private Higher Education, and Not For Profits with no upper limit on revenue size of those organizations (the largest exceed $20 billion in annual revenue).The Healthcare, Education & Not For Profit group supports the financial needs of a variety of 501(c) not for profit clients including healthcare, private universities, colleges and K-12 schools, cultural, professional, and social service organizations. Primary responsibilities of the Commercial Associate (CA) are focused on working with Relationship Managers and their client teams to help deliver the financial services/products and consultative advice that Bank of America delivers to our HENFP clients. The CA role is a developmental role for future client-facing associates, specifically Relationship Managers.This job is responsible for delivering analytical research and developing innovative strategies to support client/prospects' needs. Key responsibilities include working closely with various banking partners to help create client/prospect presentations and providing support throughout the course of the transaction. Job expectations include leveraging data to help tell stories, uncovering valuable insights such as economic updates, markets forecasts, new business reports, and industry valuations to inform important business decisions.Responsibilities:

Supports the analysis of market and industry data to uncover insights for client/prospect meetings, pitch books, and relationship reviewsCollaborates with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and various team members across the bank to help prepare client presentations and support client dealsObserves and/or supports the credit approval process to gain knowledge of credit products and help provide clients with exposure to the bank's credit productsObserves and/or supports the treasury solutions packaging process to gain exposure to treasury products/services and their related approval processesSupports the coordination of clients/prospects and partners from product and deal teams throughout the course of a transactionSupports the delivery of new business analytics and monitors client activities as directed to aid with identifying/expanding relationships and maintaining and/or enhancing business opportunitiesSkills:
