Monday - FridayHours:

8:00am - 4:30pm (Some evening and night hours)The successful candidate will be assigned to the Anchorage Chief Pilot Office and may also have duties with the Anchorage Flight Training Facility.Duties may include the following:Data analysis, assist in developing, updating, printing and distributing fleet operations and training materials, presentations and classroom materials;Draw, design, develop and publish graphical and multi-media content used to train UPS flight crews.Audits and gathering, analyzing and reporting data.Assist in managing and developing training for UPS flight crewmembers, including computer-based training.Provide crewmember support during operation and training.Analyze proposed training projects to determine the appropriate level of training required to transfer the skills and knowledge to the target audience.Organize and analyze training and operational data to address training and safety.Conduct tours of the Flight Training Center, including full motion simulator sessions.Assist with updates to Aircraft Operations manuals and materials.Perform general office duties.Assist with organizing Community Service activities.Participate in promotional events for the UPS FlightPath Program such as career fairs and aviation events.One year of practical experience. After one year, and with management's recommendation, the intern will be able to continue in the UPS FlightPath Program at Ameriflight, the world's largest part 135 cargo carrier.Required Skills:Minimum of 300 total flight hours.Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program or less than 2 years postgraduate with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Commercial Pilot License with a multi-engine class rating.Preferred Skills:Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).Minimum of 20 Hours Multi-Engine.Employee Type:
