The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation team upholds Apple's values across our global supply chain. Communication and storytelling are critical to supporting our mission as we raise awareness and inspire advocacy and action across Apple and our industry. We are seeking an experienced communications program manager to lead digital content development across our platforms, including apple.com and SupplierCare, our platform for supplier communication and training.

Description

As a seasoned expert in communications and creative production, you will lead the development of content for our communications platforms, including apple.com, our internal website, and SupplierCare, which is our platform for supplier communication and training. This includes strategic planning for the creation and delivery of content including major annual website refreshes and day-to-day communications and training delivery on SupplierCare. Your scope will also include the continual evolution of our content production standards, as well as working with developers to drive the system enhancements required to support them, and development of the platforms' content itself. You will collaborate deeply within the team, integrating key communications priorities into the deliverables you lead, as well as work daily with key partner organizations including public relations, government affairs, marketing communications, and technical experts across the company. Your work will serve many audiences, including our employees, customers, suppliers and their employees, and the media. Success will depend on being able to internalize and strategically communicate deeply technical content across many issue areas, while also understanding the reach of our business, telling the story of the people and environment across our global supply chain, and inspiring others across the industry (and beyond) to take action.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree7+ years of relevant work experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop effective creative strategies and lead others in executing against themAble to manage a dynamic communications environment, flexing to address evolving prioritiesExpert at building and maintaining strong relationships in deeply cross-functional environmentsPassion for creating values-driven contentExperience with sustainability and ESG reporting and subject matter areas and related industry trendsExperience managing editorial voice and consistency across a portfolio of work that includes multiple media and audiencesComfortable leading content reviews for technical experts and executivesConfidence in working with technical source material, and interest and capacity to engage with new subject matter areasAbility to operate and collaborate at all levels of the organization, including working directly with senior executivesCan flex between understanding and shaping the big picture, to focusing on the tiniest of detailsSkilled in leading complex projects and accomplishing work through othersAdvanced experience with content management systems, graphic design and presentation production processes and principles, and photography and filmmaking workflowsAbility to travel 5% domestically and/or internationally

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
