Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a related PhD degree.3 years of experience in a data science field.Preferred Qualifications:

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.Responsibilities:

Translate business problems from your supported organization or functional area into analytical solutions and insights.Provide technical mentorship in delivering project work including implementing data science solutions, improving data pipelines, developing evaluation metrics, or building statistical models that provide insights to the business.Work closely with product and engineering teams to analyze impact on product or Google-wide metrics (e.g., daily activities, retention, churn).Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
