The Forecast Agency creates superior apparel products through creativity, innovation, and integrity. Forecast works with licensors ranging from luxury to off price to not only produce apparel and accessories for the brands it owns, but also manufacture private label brands for many retailers. We are looking for a full-time WOMEN’S Apparel Graphic Designer to assist the team on a multitude of graphic design needs for our SMU trend and licensed apparel division.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create original on-trend graphics for various juniors/womens accounts across multiple categories for licensed and branded apparel.Conduct trend & market research to identify the latest upcoming trends.Ability to develop designs that are aligned with various retailers/licenses/brand voices.Collaborating with cross-functional teams with an action-oriented, positive, and proactive mindset.Managing design workflow and deadlines within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Collaborate with sales and design on visual presentations, as well as other apparel and design-related duties when needed.QUALIFICATIONS

BA or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field.Portfolio required.Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Ability to handle multiple projects in a timely manner, including quickly creating and revising designs. (Our business runs off a quick-turn model.)Knowledge of women's, men's, and juniors fashion trends and retailers, as well as an interest in emerging and current trends in fashion, pop culture, internet, etc.Strong understanding of the screen-printing process, techniques, and basic garment construction.Previous experience with licensed apparel a plus.Previous graphic design work sold in retail.Please submit resume and portfolio link through Malakye.
