What You Will Be Doing

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction.

As an ICF Marketing Account Manager, you’ll personally partner with senior client leadership to understand needs, goals, and expectations. In turn you’ll closely collaborate with our local program team, national subject matter experts, and award-winning in-house creative agency to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

Within the marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage and mentor local junior staff. Working together on client accounts, you’ll delegate and oversee efforts while providing support and growth opportunities. You’ll also play a key role in helping shape the growth of the overall marketing contract.

To be successful in this position, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should have previous account management experience, ideally in an agency or consulting setting. You bring proven expertise in marketing and the project management needed to bring it to life. You’re able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, solve problems creatively, and build trusted, high touch relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Along with your professional skills, you bring personal interest in and enthusiasm for positive climate and community impact.

Responsibilities Include

Manage a key client relationship on a large portfolio, serving as their main point of contactDevelop and implement marketing strategies and plans based on client objectives and budgetProvide related marketing advisement and leadership to the client, external partners, internal program colleagues and creative professionalsLead the creation of B2B and B2C outreach campaigns, sales tools, social media, and other marketing deliverablesMonitor and report on the performance and results of marketing activitiesProvide feedback and recommendations to client and internal teams to optimize marketing effortsManage day-to-day client requests to build strong relationships, confidence and trustManage and mentor junior marketing staffManage marketing budget and develop monthly forecastsPartner with business development to draft proposals and budgets for new business.Attend 2-3 in-person client meetings monthly in downtown Los Angeles and quarterly events around the region.

What We Need You To Have (minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related discipline (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)6+ years of experience in account management, project management, or marketing, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting2+ years of people management experience

Familiarity with current marketing platforms (email, survey, social media management etc.)Understanding of social media channels and related video contentGeneral knowledge of energy, environment, and climate issuesAgency or consultancy experienceExperience with B2C marketingPersonal experience and understanding of the wider Los Angeles region

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$87,607.00 - $148,932.00
