Avery Point is a beautiful 94-acre continuing care retirement community located just 15 minutes from downtown Richmond in Short Pump, Virginia. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are hiring a Senior Associate of Sales who is responsible for selling the Erickson lifestyle to prospects in conjunction with the community sales team. This position initiates and assists with all customer interactions throughout the sales cycle and may aid with telephone sales, walk-in appointments, overflow sales appointments, financial interviews, move-in sales appointments, and public speaking.

How you will make an impact:

Assumes a leadership role in both pre-and post-reservation sales processes, including responding to telephone inquiries, handling walk-in customers and immediate tours, initiating and organizing customer relationship management through events and experiential engagements, and more

Assesses customers’ needs and makes decisions on type and quantity of information to provide.

Meet with prospective residents to evaluate their financial status.

Actively promote the community and participate in all marketing events and functions.

Participate in community activities and meetings to enhance the relationship between the sales office and other community departments.

Produce professional written communication to prospects and organizational partners.

What you will need:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.

3 or more years of previous sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.

Team leader or project leader experience preferred.

Previous experience working with a long sales cycle (12 – 18 months) preferred.

Compensation: Starting at $24 per hour, commensurate with experience
