Audience Development Analyst

The analyst is also expected to be comfortable translating data findings into actionable insights and key takeaways during recurring and one-off presentations. In this role, the analyst must feel confident in their ability to both identify trends in data and pinpoint opportunities. The analyst should be comfortable communicating with various levels of organizational stakeholders, in support of improving content performance and driving community insights.The Audience Development team is seeking a driven and skilled Social Analyst to support data-driven performance tracking, reporting, and audience development initiatives for multiple franchise social media channels.This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Audience Development and will support the manager and team in providing regular reports, channel strategy insights, and platform best practices to key stakeholders. The analyst will also work in tandem with digital marketing teams, the content operations team, and other key internal & external partners. In this role you will contribute directly to monitoring the overall health of social media and video platforms for large game franchises.

Analyze large data sets from a variety of sourcesContribute to ad hoc workflows with a self-starter mindsetIdentify hypotheses for testing and learnings opportunitiesTest hypotheses and tie abstract data findings into clear insightsDevelop or improve familiarity with native social media analytics toolsCreate and deliver weekly social listening & channel performance reportingSupport focused reporting on major/key publishing and game release beatsSupport social teams in content planning by providing data-backed insightsDevelop expertise in all analytics tooling in-use by teamPresenting findings in meetings with variety of stakeholdersMaintain knowledge of current platform and content-archetype best practicesTeam player, advocate and consistent communicatorEstablish and maintain knowledge of current franchise communitiesEstablish and maintain knowledge of content cycles (patches, expansions, major beats)

This is a full-time 6-month contract on a hybrid and/or remote working in Pacific Time zone work hours opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years' data analysis experience in media planning and/or social media managementSolid knowledge and understanding of Sprinklr, native social analytics platforms, and other data-focused platformsExperience with social listening data analysisAbility to combine contextual information with data to create informed recommendationsStrong analytical and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsData visualization skillsProficient in Excel/Google SheetsProficient in Powerpoint/Google SlidesAble to quickly learn new analytics tools and platformsAble to manage relationships with multiple key stakeholders and meet weekly reporting deadlines
