LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.

Our mission is to provide a safe blood supply that meets or exceeds the needs in each community we serve, and to provide a variety of services in support of ongoing and emerging blood and transfusion related activities.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled leader with a solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques, a data-driven approach, and a passion for innovation, to join the team as Marketing Executive in Gainesville, FL.

As Marketing Executive, you are responsible for the overall marketing strategy across the organization. This position requires active communication with executive leadership and department directors within the organization to ensure adequate planning and execution of strategic marketing plans. This position is dedicated to advancing the organization's objectives in blood donation, cord blood services, cellular therapy, new business development, and meeting patient needs.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional platforms.

Create and edit content for various marketing channels in support of organizational initiatives related to donor base and blood center growth, research, cord blood collection, cellular therapy and laboratory services.

Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities.

Establish and monitor marketing budgets.

Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding strategies.

Direct and evaluate the work of Marketing department supervisors and team members.

Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors who support the organization's marketing objectives.

Direct the activities of external marketing and advertising providers.

Travel to LifeSouth locations; and to industry related events, conferences, vendor or partner meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum of seven years of marketing and/or relevant work experience; at least two years of supervisory experience

Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field

Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and campaign management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead and motivate marketing teams

Ability to organize and manage time effectively

Ability to manage marketing budgets effectively

Ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry

Comfortable with public speaking and presenting

Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required

Background in marketing or brand management in the field of blood banking, pharmaceuticals, and/or cellular therapy, preferred
